Search by date

Are you able to enable searching by date on the website? This can be done through Google, but it could be ueful embedded into the website.

This would help identify the most recent or active discussions, and list them by most recent.

This could also help reduce discussions which are essentially duplicates.

    The main forum search (in the left sidebar) sorts by date.

    There are plans to change the Google-powered search to sort by date as well.

    On the google powered search there is a checkbox for "recent forum posts" which should probably be checked by default for forum searches, but that tells google to use date for relevancy calculations.
