Creating Citations from EMBASE (Elsevier) - No Translator?

Hello,

Is there any chance that work is being done on making EMBASE as accessed directly via Elsevier Zotero-friendly? This is a very important bio-med database and doing so would go a long way to endearing a lot of researchers to Zotero.

Many thanks,

Joe Wickens
  • I have discovered a work around for this. Save citations to clipboard feature of Embase. Open the Clipboard and Export (RIS format). The Download will go to Zotero.

The appearance of the item icon in the url bar would still be an asset.

  • The workaround doesn't work for us because we can't bring up the clipboard viewer. It requires that a clipbook service be running and that requires that other, unspecified services also be running.

It would be great if we could get Zotero working with Embase.

  • Hi Ron,

I am not sure what other services need to be running. When I do this I use only the clipboard feature inside Embase and it works without any other interventions. Does the clipboard feature not work at all for you? Or does the problem arise when you attempt to export?
