rename "remove selected item" menu to "remove selected item from collection"

When right-clicking on an item, the context menu says:
...
Remove Selected Item
Delete Selected Item from Library...
...

It would be much clearer if the menu said instead:
...
Remove Selected Item from Collection
Delete Selected Item from Library...
...

That way, a novice user won't think that the "remove" menu actually moves the item to the trash. If the novice user doesn't know about collections, this revised menu gives him pause and he will be like: wait a minute, what's the difference between a collection and a library?

Result: no more questions like these in the forums:

There is no downside as far as I can tell: the menu wouldn't expand by the addition of the words "from collection", since the other menu items have longer line lengths anyways.
  • I have a related question: although it says "delete" from library, as opposed to the more benign-sounding "remove," the files remain on the drive in either case, is that correct? It's not totally clear from the language used, but I seem to have double PDFs of things I thought I'd destroyed and replaced. I've been letting Zotero manage a lot of my research-related file storage (which makes life so much easier), and It would be very convenient if Zotero additionally asked if it should delete them from the disk, like iTunes does.
    Thank you.
  • MG6: Deleting means deleting. You have to empty your Zotero trash, though.

You also might have what appear to be duplicates if you have items in multiple libraries.
  • Thank you--it was the former. That's excellent.
  • I second hcsiller's original request. I just installed 3.0 and it has the same unclear language that he complaned about. Adding "from collection" would make it obvious. --Joshua
  • just made another Zotero convert - and this is one of the things I always have to explain...

(the other being the fact that you have to generate a report for a note before you can search it)
