Zotero Plugin Disappeared from Word

I have been using Zotero for about a year with great success. But recently at about the same time I had problems with a Word bug, my Zotero add-ins plugin disappeared from Word.

Here are things I have tried:

- reinstalling Zotero Word plugin
- reinstalling Zotero
- reinstalling Word
- deleting Word regkey files (fixed by Word bug)

Details:

Windows 7
Zotero 2.0
Word 2007 SP2

Please help! I've tried reinstalling the Word plug-in as per the FAQs several times, with no luck.

    OK, I have found the solution, thanks to this discussion here:

    Apparently Word disables the add-ins and they need to be managed under "Templates" for some reason....

    I've found that every time I re-start Word 2010 beta I have to re-install the Zotero plug in. I go to Word--> Options-->Add-Ins-->Manage Word Add-Ins: Go-->Add--> Word: STARTUP: Zotero.dot; OK and it added back. Hope this helps.

    If you're adding Zotero.dot manually, there's something wrong on your system (e.g., the .dot file isn't in the active startup directory). You should never need to do that.
