Don't see the zotero icon in my word document

I downloaded the latest version of Zotero as well as the latest version for the word plug in. I have Windows XP, Word 2007 and I have the latest Firefox. I don't see the icon of zotero in my word document.

Any suggestions?

It's not an icon—it's a toolbar.

I sill don't see anything. How do I ensure that Zotero.dot appears and is enabled in Tools→Templates and Add-ins?

Open Tools->Templates and Add-ins. Look.

I looked. Templates and add-ins are not available. I have followed all your instructions and still no toolbar.

Meaning what? We can't help you unless you tell us exactly what you're doing.

Let me start from the beginning. I want to export my references that I have stored with zotero and cite them in word. I have done this many times. Today I updated zotero to the new version as well as the word plug in. And now I don't see the toolbar. I went to the two links that you suggested and followed the instructions. One of the links suggested to ensure Zotero.dot appears and is enabled in Tools→Templates and Add-ins. I went to tools and did not see any of this. Where is zotero.dot suppose to appear? Also, templates and Add-ins were not seen under tools.

The message is referring to Tools in Word, not Firefox.

O.k that makes sense. I found everything and enabled zotero.dot. Some how it got disabled.
