Hi, how do I find out how much of the space originally allotted for PDFs etc (100 MB) I have already used and how much remains?

I have a quick follow-up question: is it possible for me to have two separate zotero accounts on one computer? Say both I and a colleague want our separate zotero accounts, but share a computer. What should we do?

Yes, you can run different Firefox Profiles.
