Public closed group within desktop client

Is it possible to add a public group that is closed to the Zotero client ?

If not, could that be made possible in a future update ?

Of which you are not a member?
No. I don't think that's particularly likely to happen -- all sorts of confusion would ensue.

If I'm understanding this, it's generally something we've long thought about — the ability to be a "follower" of a public group that you're not a member of. A closed public group is a little more complicated, in that the library could be set to not be public, but in theory libraries that were set to be publicly viewable could be followed.

Yes, a public group of which I'm not a member, that is closed, that can be viewed in the web interface. It's curated by an organisation and it would be wonderful to view and search it directly within the client (where I organise my literature).
