Mac OS 12.7.6 Zotero connector for safari 17.6 flickers and disappears
My system details: MacBook Air (2017), macOS 12.7.6 (the highest version for my Mac), safari 17.6, Zotero 10.0.7
I have successfully installed the latest Zotero. However, when I try to use the Zotero Connector extension in Safari, the extension icon in the toolbar flickers continuously and disappears. It does not stay visible, so I cannot click it to save references.
I have tried completely deleting and reinstalling Zotero, compress and uncompress Zotero, force Extension reloading, but the problem remains unsolved.
What can I do to solve this problem? Or maybe I should install Zotero 7 or what? Will it help?

Upgrade Storage
Delete Zotero from Applications, restart your computer, and reinstall. If that doesn't help, you'll need to use a different browser or switch a newer Mac that can run later versions of macOS, Safari, and the Zotero Connector. Current versions should auto-repair after this this macOS bug occurs.
