I'm using Libre Writer 26.10 with Zotero 10, and my selected style is Chicago 18 shortened notes/bibliography. The first citation of a source is supposed to have a longer form in the footnote, with subsequent citations reverting to a shortened form. My problem is that the long form citation for the first occasion is not happening - the short form is being returned for both first and subsequent citations. I have tried refreshing etc to no avail. Any ideas on this?
