EBSCOhost/Philosopher's Index "Could not Save Item" -- Might be batch import problem

Executive Summary:
Can not save a folder of citations from a EBSCOhost/Philosopher's Index search. Report ID# 114251342. Details below.

Platform:
I'm using Zotero 2.0b7.6; translators "Up to Date"; FF 3.5.6.

Notes:
I did notice that (1) saving individual entries *does* work, (2) that saving multiple multiple entries straight from a search does *not* work, and (3) saving multiple entries in "folder view", that is, multiple entries that have been collected inside EBSCOhost folders, does *not* work either.

I noticed that the error contained:

JavaScript Error: "translator called select items with no items"

Which seems related to http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/5419

URL (I can't believe that you really want this, since it EBSCOhost embeds so much grbge into the URI, but I'm following the protocol):

  • I'm having the same problem with other EBSCO Host Journals- I tried PsychInfo, PsychARticles, and Academic Search Complete - all started giving the error message yesterday (Wednesday) and all worked fine the day before. Other not EBSCO Host from the same university are continuing to work fine. I'm using the older version of Zotero. (Incidentally, mine does not work even if there's just a single reference.)
  • *bump*

Can anyone comment on this? Acknowledge the report? I've seen some traffic on other threads and I'm wondering if this one has fallen through the cracks.
  • *bump*

It has been over a month, could someone give any advice? Please?

I've managed to get imports to work by exporting citations as Endnote files and then getting them into Z but this approach is cumbersome and doesn't allow for selective imports.
  • Issue confirmed ticket created. EBSCO has to be one of the most finicky sites Zotero works with. https://www.zotero.org/trac/ticket/1626
