Some PDF files not loading

Hello,

Some PDF files in my Zotero library are not loading properly. I can click on them and they open, and I can see my highlights/annotations on the left hand side, but I am unable to see the PDF itself. This only seems to be happening with some of my pdfs and not all of them. Would you please be able to assist? Thank you in advance.

    The PDF file is empty, i.e. its size is zero bytes.
    The PDFs are showing as empty on disk.

    It looks like you're using the default data-directory location. Have you done anything unusual to the folder that would cause you to have 0-byte files? Are you doing any sort of cloud syncing of these files?

    I have not moved my Zotero data directory but I have moved my pdf files to One Drive. Some of the files open without any issues, though, so I am not sure what the problem with only some of them may be?

    I'm not sure what you mean by this. Your debug output shows you opening a stored file in your Zotero data directory:
    Opening C:\Users\[…]\Zotero\storage\N6NNFFHG\[…].pdf

    Oh okay, should I move the data directory back to the default location then? Should that solve it? I recently tried cloud syncing of these files, might that be the cause? How could I solve it and ensure it doesn't happen again?
