I would also love to see this!

We are using Proton Docs (e2ee, non-profit, oss, audits, etc.) now as well and would be extremly happy about an implementation!

I need this!!

As far as I can see, Proton does not support plugins in their document editor.

I'd love to have that too for Proton docs!

I agree, just started using Proton Docs instead of Google Docs in the last few weeks : that could be very helpful !

Would love this!

Here to add my voice in support of this request. Web-based document collaboration has been a game changer for my academic work, but like many researchers I have so little faith in the security of Google's platform and would be thrilled to see a Zotero plut-in for Proton Docs.

Hi, I have the same wish... to have Zotero integrated with Proton Drive Docs and I've voted on the uservoice thread.

In the meantime, I'm trying to use a work-around. It's a bit more cumbersome than having Zotero integration but it does enable you to cite things from a Zotero library (shared or personal) within a Proton Drive Doc. It requires that you later convert the doc to a different format (e.g. ODT or DOCX) after exporting it in order to produce the properly cited document with bibliography.

If you're interested in working this way, I've written out the steps. It's relatively simple but requires installing a plugin. https://chroknowlogy.ca/blog/know-fore/a-way-to-use-zotero-with-proton-docs
