Update: I'm using Zotero 10.0.6 and Zotero Connector 5.0.216 on macOS. The Connector is enabled in Safari and has website access. The Zotero ping page says “Zotero is running,” and saving works in Chrome, but clicking the Connector button in Safari does nothing.

In Develop → Web Extension Background Context → Zotero Connector, the console shows:

- SyntaxError: Unterminated regular expression literal — openurl.js:176
- SyntaxError: Unterminated regular expression literal — utilities.js:184
- Unhandled Promise Rejection: TypeError: Zotero.Utilities.deepCopy is not a function (cachedTypes.js:45)

I've attached screenshots of the console. Could this indicate a problem with the bundled Safari extension?

(Please start new threads for new issues — the thread you posted to isn't related. I've moved this to a new thread.)

What exact macOS and Safari versions? This is due to your system locale, but current versions of the Connector already include what should be a fix for this.
