The fonts look strange in the latest version

I meet the same font problem. The new fonts really make words and formula hard to read and recognize. Hope they would fix this problem soon.

(Note that this is only on the Zotero 11 beta, so "Hope they would fix this problem soon" isn't really appropriate. If you're having some problem with the beta, you can always switch to the release version.)

Same here. In case it saves you time: it reproduces outside Zotero with the pdf.js 5.7.0 build shipped in the beta. It renders wrong in Firefox but fine in Chromium. Setting disableFontFace: true, or using pdfjs-dist 4.10.38 in the same Firefox, renders it correctly. So it seems to be the embedded Type 1 → FontFace path in Gecko. In my PDF the affected font is LMMathItalic10-Regular (Latin Modern Math Italic): l and j come out garbled.
