English titles when style is in another language

Hi!

I have a problem with French language styles and English book titles. I have not bothered to care much about the case of my English language titles in my Zotero library because the get rendered into title case in the references when I use English citation styles which I have done for years. But now for the first time needing write for a French law review and using a French style I can see that my English titles are all over the place in terms of capitalization of first letters. It seems that the French style leaves titles for which I have defined the language as English untouched.

Question: Is there any way to make the French language style use English capitalization rules for titles in English (defined as English in my library)?

The style I am using is Université de Liège (droit).

Thank you in advance!
Gustav
  • If you set text-case="title" on an element in a non-English style, it will titlecase items marked as English in the Zotero data. The style doesn't do that, so you'd have to modify it which given the way it's coded is a bit tedious (there are lots of text variable="title" elements).
