Upgrade StorageAdd Item by Identifier truncates an IGI Global chapter DOI to the book DOI
Hi,
When I use Add Item by Identifier and enter this IGI Global chapter DOI:
10.4018/978-1-61350-447-5.ch005
Zotero retrieves the parent book record and changes the DOI to:
10.4018/978-1-61350-447-5
Crossref already contains the correct metadata for the complete DOI. Its API returns a book-chapter record with the full DOI:
https://api.crossref.org/works/10.4018/978-1-61350-447-5.ch005
Expected result:
Zotero should create a Book Section item and preserve the complete chapter DOI, including ".ch005".
Actual result:
Zotero creates the parent book record and drops the chapter suffix.
Therefore, the Crossref metadata appears to be correct, and the DOI seems to be truncated or resolved to the parent book during Zotero's Add Item by Identifier process.

Could someone from the Zotero team take a look? Since Crossref returns the correct book-chapter metadata, this seems to be an issue with Zotero's Add Item by Identifier feature.
