Would it be possible to have the annotation functions (at least highlight) on the plain reader? Would be a dream to be able to read on my phone without having to bow down to formatting of pdfs.

Yes, the mobile apps will be gaining the same Reading Mode for PDFs that's now available in the desktop app.

I just wanted to confirm that that this feature is not included in the latest Android beta? Because I just installed version 1.0.0-291 on my Boox and when I click on the button, I get a blank screen. I wasn't sure if I should report that as a bug, or if it simply wasn't implemented yet? (And if it is a bug, please let me know how to properly report it.) Thanks.

Works in a short test in 292. Also an issue where TOC wasn't correctly showing in plain reader on android is now resolved. Thanks for your continuous improvements for android, which keeps closing remaining gaps compared to iOS.
