Linked files in the Android app

Hi, I have recently discovered the Zotero Android App and I think it's great.
I have stored my pdfs on my PC in a specified folder and set links to them in Zotero. This folder is also present on my phone as it is part of my OwnCloud that syncs with my pone.
My question is: Can I make the Android App retrieve the pdf from my OwnCloud on Android, e.g. by telling it "replace >path to folder on windows< with >path to folder on android< ?

No, the mobile apps only support stored files.

If you use the Zotmoov plugin to manage your linked files on your computer, it can be set up to temporarily transfer selected linked files back into local Zotero storage, via its Custom Menus. Then, with Zotero file syncing turned ON (and assuming you are under your online file storage quota), those files will be synced to the mobile apps. When you have finished working on them there, the reverse menu option on your computer transfers them back to your linked-files folder. Annotations are preserved (transparently) throughout that process.
