new to zotero but really 'challenged' in setting it up on all my devices

I'm running Zotero on my Kubuntu pc, my google tablet (running GrapheneOS) and my Pixel 9P (running grapheneOS). I use Firefox browser on all 3 devices with full sync between them.

I can't get the libreoffice connector to work... lots of 'java' issues and resolving that seems pretty complicated.

I can't get the firefox connector to work on either the tablet or pixel 9p... but it IS working in firefox on my kubuntu pc. (so perhaps this is a grapheneOS issue? on my android devices?)

I've done quite a bit of troubleshooting - but nothing is working - I'm normally pretty tech savvy but trying to get a holistic zotero setup working across all my devices makes me question the whole use case (for me).

Is this just me - or are these normal/expected challenges?

    There is no Firefox connector on Android (and thus Graphene). You just share from Firefox (or any other browser) to Zotero.

    You'd have to say more about LibreOffice. Again, this will only work on the PC, but there it should generally work. Troubleshooting is here: https://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_troubleshooting#libreoffice
    We'd need to know what you tried to say more.

    Thanks - I had assumed that since I was able to install the add-in to my android firefox it would work.

    For Libreoffice I believe the issue is I'm missing necessary JAVA components (what the trouble-shooting has lead me to ... so not directly related to Zotero.

    This helps quite a bit - in that the issues seem much less of a problem - and the only remaining issue is my own libreoffice .

    You shouldn't be able to install Zotero in Firefox for Android -- how did you do that? If you installed an unofficial extension from the Extension store, you should remove that (there's "We Save to Zotero" which is very much not released by Zotero)

    No - it is the official extension... just added it from the .xpi file.

    (do this with a lot of extensions on android firefox.. most work just fine.)
