Would you know how to show in-text citations (superscript) to the same reference with the same number?
If you click on the same document several times when creating a citation Zotero creates a new superscript every time instead of using the first superscript linked to the document.

You want a numeric style (like Nature) instead -- that will automatically repeat the number for the same cited item. Note that you will need to insert a bibliography to actually see the references for numeric styles.
I am using MHRA style guide 4th edition (notes).
Even if I copy the superscript and paste it somewhere else it adjust the number and adds a duplicated refence in the footnotes.
I cannot refer in the text more than once to a specific citation. Is this a glitch?
Alternatively, use a numeric style as adamsmith mentioned. IEEE or one of the many hundred styles out there.
