Word crashing when clicking Zotero 'add/ edit citation' into large word document

Hi there, my company IT consultant has advised that you have an issue on your end -causing my word document to crash/ freeze when I go in to add a new intext citation. Both my colleague and I are having the same issues when trying to add intext citations on this large word document, I go to click 'add/edit citation' button the document freezes and needs to be shut down. I'm currently using Zotero version 9.0.6 (64-bit) and the document I'm working in is 7.45MB.

If you can please look into this issue and rectify asap would be greatly appreciated.

    What exact version of Word? A Word crash would generally be a Word bug. Make sure you're running the latest version.

    You can also try updating to Zotero 10 via Help → "Check for Updates…", though that's unlikely to make a difference.
