Feature request: disable text-to-speech option
I think the text-to-speech is a much-needed accessibility feature, and perhaps even useful beyond making text more accessible.
However, I find myself accidentally turning it on all the time. I looked and don't see an option to have it off by default. I'd like to request being able to prevent it from inadvertently reading, perhaps with a Settings option.

dstillman Zotero TeamZotero 10, available via Help → "Check for Updates…", changes the shortcut from just R/L to Cmd/Ctrl-Shift-R/L, so you shouldn't trigger it accidentally.

octavabassoExcellent, thank you! Yes, the issue was highlighted text sometimes didn't trigger "Add to Note" on right-click, and text-to-speech was the first option instead.
