Missing feature in Zotero 7, and now Zotero 6 no longer works
I resisted updating to Zotero 7 because it no longer included a feature I use all the time: when clicking on the PDF, the note opens in the right panel and I can directly type or read my notes.
In Zotero 7, I have to scroll down the right panel to find the notes, and they are in a tiny box, really unpractical to type or read.
More generally, the layout was better in Zotero 6, with less unused space (e.g. the blank space at the top on the right of "My library").
Sadly, Zotero 6 no longer works on Windows, more precisely the Zotero connector no longer works with Zotero 6 (due to a Windows security update apparently).
Thus I had to update Zotero and I am sad I lost my beloved features.
Perhaps it's time I try another software like Notion, Obsidian or Mendeley.

Upgrade Storage
(I understand some folks miss the notes with PDFs, but very few people actually used them and they were systematically a mess -- they didn't fit with the way information is handled and displayed in Zotero more generally -- and caused all sorts of problems under the hood, so definitely not coming back)
