bug, can not save references on otero

Debug ID: D1107595902

macOS 26.5.2 (Apple Silicon), Safari, Zotero 10.0 (ARM64), fr-FR locale.

The Zotero Connector in Safari is no longer able to save new references: no confirmation popup appears when clicking, no visible error, and nothing shows up in my local library.

Already checked:

Site permission set to "Allow" in Safari → Settings → Websites → Extensions
http://127.0.0.1:23119/connector/ping returns "Zotero is running"
Connector preferences show "Zotero is currently available"
Completely reinstalled Zotero (deleted app, restarted computer, clean reinstall)
After that reinstall, 6 duplicates of the same reference suddenly appeared (likely previous save attempts that had been queued)
My Zotero File Storage quota is full, but I understand this shouldn't affect saving via the Connector

The attached log corresponds to a save attempt made right after clearing and re-enabling debug logging.

Can you provide a Debug ID from the Zotero Connector (rather than Zotero) for reloading the page and trying to save?

That's just the same Debug ID you provided above.
  • sorry, here is the one from Zotero connector: D1144361788.

That doesn't show you reloading the page before trying to save. Can you try again? The save button should show a PDF icon, not a Z. It's possible this was just a tab you already had open when the Zotero Connector was reloaded.

Also note that that's on a PDF. That should work, but you should also try saving from the article page, which is what you generally should save from.
