tag list- predefined and build into Zotero
I am working with a research team and we need to categorize a large number of outputs with a very specific set of tags. We want the spelling to be the exact same, so I am hoping to build in a drop down select all that apply menu that can be added to each scientific output.
Our research team is large (~50 people) with hundreds of outputs, so I need it to be a specific list, ideally as a select all that apply.
The list will only be ~10 tags.
Any suggestions?

In that case, one workaround might be to create a “wildcard item" (with no value or bibliographic content) and add all the tags you need to it. That item should not be deleted from the database*. Remember that of the ~10 tags you need, nine of them can be assigned a color to make your work easier.
-------
*Later on, once all the tags have been assigned to at least one item, you can delete this “wildcard item", but I would leave it... somewhat like an “anchor” for all the available tags.
If you wanted those 10 tags to all appear at the top of the tag selector pane, you could add a specific prefix like # to each of them (given that only nine can be colour-coded to appear there).
Multiple tags can also be added to a *single* item's tags all at once. Create a comma-separated or vertical list of the 10 tags and paste it into the item's tag field. The vertical list of tags will be adding automatically; the comma-separated list will trigger a pop-up dialog asking if you want the list split into 10 individual tags, or one single tag with the 10 comma-separated terms (since commas are allowed in single tags).
So in fact if it suited your purposes, the 10-tag 'set' could even be entered as a single long tag.
