I have tested with 4 PDF documents on both the Boox and the smartphone. Nothing is working: highlight, underline, free hand, nothing!
I first noticed it on the Boox, then tested on the phone before updating and it was working fine and quickly, but after updating everything stoped to work.
All tools work fine on the Boox if I use my fingers, but not with the pen.
On the smartphone nothing works, nor the fingers or the pen.
I remember that something similar happened earlier this year.
I have also noticed that sync is *very* slow. Annotations made with my finger on the Boox are not yet appearing on the smartphone after some 5-10 minutes.
Yes, the beta-266 retrieves all annotations. It responds quickly to the pen.
However, the top-right three-dot menu does not work, at least in the Boox tablet. Comments and tags can be added (and they are saved), but: 1. The underlining and highlighting cannot be adjusted (enlarged, or cropped). 2. There is a trick to edit the area of images, but they are not saved. They are lost upon exiting the reader.
Otherwise, the app is working very well, with no delay. Sync is also fine. Thanks!
