Store Copy of file
It has been my workflow that when adding attachments to a zotero item, there would be an option to store a copy, i.e. to generate a copy of a given file at what is the "linked attachment base directory" with title formatted according to a given set of naming rules.
However, opening Zotero now I cannot seem to find this option any more, with the only option available seeming to force storage in a separate file structure corresponding to the internal syncing capabilities. Is it possible to recover the previous functionality or is this a deliberate downgrade of features to pressure users into paying for storage?

Upgrade Storage
If so, you may be recalling Zotmoov's option to to make that extra copy (instead of its more commonly used 'move to' option for linked files) ...

But a Linked Attachment Base Directory setting is only necessary to tell Zotero where to *look* for linked files when opening them, if you have the linked-files folder at different parent paths on different computers. It has no effect on where new linked files get stored.
