publisher and place fields lost when importing from RIS

Hello there,

I'm experiencing an issue when importing an RIS file into Zotero. My test RIS file looks something like this:

TY - JOUR
TI - title
AU - author_surname, author_first_name
A2 - editor1_surname, editor1_first_name
T3 - series
CY - PLACE
DA - 1995///
PY - 1995
IS - series nr
SP - 1
EP - 2
PB - PUBLISHER
ST - short title
ER -

When I import this into Zotero, the 'publisher' and 'place' fields are lost. To make sure I wasn't accidentally using the wrong tags, I filled these fields in manually on Zotero, and exported to RIS, and the above is exactly what it gave me, but when I import this file again, those two fields are empty again.

Any help would be appreciated!
  • Those are imported fine for me. Can you provide a Debug ID for reproducing this?
  • Thank you for responding! The debug ID is D753424118 - but this time it actually worked for me as well. Figuring out how to get a debug ID made me realise I had been working exclusively in my browser rather than downloading the Zotero app - so maybe it's an issue/limitation with the browser version?

Fixed now in the web library — thanks. Note, though, that you should always use the desktop app when possible.
