Upgrade StorageError: note too long for sync, but note is only 60k characters

I have a note that is about 60,000 characters long and isn't syncing to cloud storage. As far as I understand, this is well below the character limit for synchronizing notes, which I found to be 250,000 characters (see https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/121371/fixing-notes-too-long-to-sync). I do have many paper references in there, but that's the whole point of the note.
What can I do to get it to sync to cloud storage?

dstillman Zotero TeamThe limit includes underlying markup in the note. With lots of citations, the length limit could be much less than 250K. For now, your best bet would be splitting the note up into multiple notes.
