Issues Copy/Paste Citation from Safari

Hello, can someone please help me? I am copy/pasting from the citation Zotero generates for me on Safari, and the formatting does not carry over to Word or Docs. It takes away the italics, adds spaces in the front. It's basically useless at this point because I have to edit it after every copy/paste. I am getting pretty frustrated as I pay $60 for this and it has been the most frustrating experience in the last few weeks. Any help is greatly appreciated!
PS I do not want to download Zotero on my computer.
  • We'll look into that — it does look like a bug — but if you're trying to cite in Word or Google Docs, you should absolutely download the actual Zotero app for proper word processor integration (and many, many other features):

    https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/web_vs_desktop

(FWIW, rich-text copying does work properly on ZoteroBib, but both ZoteroBib and citation copying in the Zotero web library are for quick one-off bibliographies, not longer-term projects. If you're using Zotero for real, you want the app.)
  • Sorry about that, a recent update to the web library broke a feature that attached a formatted output when copying a bibliography or citation.

    We will fix it!
