Apple ending support for Rosetta -- Is there a Zotero upgrade planned?

I got a notice on my mac today about the future of Zotero, namely that it wouldn't run for much longer because Apple is discontinuing Rosetta (https://support.apple.com/en-us/102527). Anyone know if there is an upgrade planned to keep Zotero working on non-Intel based Macs?

    Zotero has been native on Apple Silicon since Zotero 7 in 2024.

    Install the latest version of Zotero from the download page. Your data won't be affected.

    Interesting. I was running version 9.0.4, but I downloaded the latest (9.0.6). Will see if that works, thanks.

    No, if you got a message about Rosetta, you had/have some older version of Zotero installed on your system, or you had overridden it to run under Rosetta (File → Get Info) at some point. There's no difference between 9.0.4 and 9.0.6 here.

    Weird. I checked Zotero->About Zotero and Zotero->Settings... when it first happened, and it said 9.0.4. There's no File->Get Info, at least not in 9.0.6? But I had run earlier versions, so you could be right, maybe there was an outdated preference somewhere. Seems to be OK now, though.

    In any case, the warning message only popped up when I restarted after the MacOS 26.5.2 upgrade. I've restarted a couple times since, and I can't duplicate the error, and 9.0.6 is running fine. There are a few other annoying security things in 26.5.2, unrelated to Zotero, so now I suspect it's Apple's mistake. Maybe they had Zotero on a list of old Rosetta apps or something, and that triggered the warning message.
