Not all 50 citations were downloaded to Zotero

When I tried to download the first 50 of 111 citations into Zotero, only 46 were downloaded. For the next 50, only 47 were downloaded. When I used the Zotero icon and selected all 50 from the list shown, they did not download to Zotero at all. I downloaded 50 at a time into a BibTex file and send that to Zotero. That only downloaded 46 citations. The second download only brought in 47. did Zotero delete duplicates on the way?
