Upgrade StorageHow long will iOS 17 be enough for Zotero?
Dear All,
I have an old iPad pro 12.9 for which iOS 17 is the latest supported OS. I mostly use it for reading with Zotero, and it does everything I need, so no need for a new device. However, the battery is dying, so I'd need a replacement battery.
Is it foreseeable that Zotero on iOS will soon require an OS newer than 17? Because then I'd rather not spend £80 on a new battery, but put that towards getting a newer iPad.
Even if newer versions might require iOS18 or above, is it anticipated that older versions of Zotero will just continue to work? (I'm happy with it right now, I sync via Zotero cloud with the PC).

mvasilak Zotero TeamHey Andre, as things are now, I'd say iOS 17 will still be supported for the next year. When iOS 17 is dropped from support, you will be able to use it for reading files already downloaded or locally added, but there is no guarantee that syncing, the connector, or other network-related functions won't break.
