Google Docs: Unlinking problem despite following the steps

I have similar issues
1. Unlinking problem despite following the steps mentioned in https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/unlinking_citations). After downloading word file from google docs, I can not unlink in-text citations and references. When attempting to generate a bibliography on this unlinked text, Zotero throws a "You must insert a citation before performing this operation" warning.
2. How to get citation style used in "Fish and Shellfish Immunology" journal?

If you want to unlink in Word you have transfer the document properly. Or you should make a copy in Google Docs, unlink there, then download the docx.
