Rapidly deleting pages in multiple tabs and closing them leaves stale tabs

Steps to reproduce:
1) Open multiple PDF files in tabs
2) Delete the first page from a right-click in the Thumbnails pane of the Reader for multiple tabs.
3) Close all the tabs quickly.

-> If I try opening some of the tabs that were just edited, they cannot open any more.

[JavaScript Error: "can't access property "type", tab is undefined" {file: "chrome://zotero/content/tabs.js" line: 0}]

[JavaScript Error: "TypeError: can't access dead object" {file: "chrome://zotero/content/xpcom/reader.js" line: 714}]
At the end of this process, with all tabs closed, I could still see 11 orphaned tabs.

Doing this for a single tab does not produce a stale tab.
