Upgrade StorageStrange Symbols Appearing When Copying Citations (Ubuntu, Zotero 6.0.35)
Hello everyone,
I’m encountering an issue when copying citations using Ctrl + Shift + A in Zotero. Every time I paste a citation, I get strange symbols at the beginning, like this:
��(Singha et al., 2022)
��(Gul & Bano, 2019)
I’ve tried adjusting the preferences by changing the export item format and switching the character encoding from auto-detect to UTF-8, but it hasn’t resolved the problem.
I’m using Ubuntu and Zotero 6.0.35. Interestingly, this issue occurs when pasting into Google Docs or Obsidian but not when pasting into the native Ubuntu text editor.
Any help or suggestions on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated!
