I tried some of the search functions to try and find an answer with no luck. To start I had no account, just installed the extension for edge, I cannot seem to access anymore, can someone assist?
I'm not sure what your question is? A new account wouldn't have any data in it.
If you're looking for an old account, note that an account isn't required to use Zotero, so it's entirely possible you were just using Zotero locally without syncing. If you have other email addresses, you can try resetting your password with those, but otherwise your data would be on the computer where you last used Zotero, and you can create an account and set up syncing to transfer your data. If you do have Zotero running locally, you can check the Sync pane to see if you previously set up syncing with a different account.
I was running locally like you stated, so my question is I cannot find how to sync those up. I tried to enter the username, and it didn't work, but when I did create an account, it said that username wasn't available. Could you help with this?
If you have Zotero locally, you just need to set up syncing with your new account. Click the sync button in the top right of the desktop app to get started.
If you're posting here, you have an account and this is your username. Log in with that after clicking the "Sync" button in Zotero. If that's not working, you'd have to say more.
Up in the address bar when I click on the quick link I saved has the username prior to making an account. Hopefully this screen shot helps articulate what I am trying to say.
That looks like you did have an account -- awalkie. You'd have to figure out how to get access to that account (start by logging out of your current one)
