not able to input citations

I have been using Zotero for 2 years; this morning it just started not working. The zotero icon appears at top of Word docs but when i ask it to insert a citation, the regular screen that usually shows up in Zotero, no longer appears. There is no way to input a citation.

    Can you provide a Debug ID for Zotero startup through clicking Add/Edit Citation in Word, using the Help → Debug Output Logging → "Restart with Logging Enabled…" option?

    i can't follow these instructions...i don't quite understand the last step...do you have a way of logging onto my computer to assist?

    The last one almost certainly isn't relevant if you don't understand it. You would know if you had set up multiple profiles.

    But you'll definitely need to do the others — in particular restarting your computer and confirming that you've removed Zotero completely from Word before reinstalling the plugin.

    i figured it out...i guess with the new update, zotero does not work in the same way...the dialogue box that normally comes up, normally comes up...but you cant still enter citations...i do not like this new format...but it is still working

    I'm not sure what you mean, but this sounds like some sort of misunderstanding. Can you provide some screenshots of what you're referring to?
