Audio Recording entry

Hi,

I'm using Zotero with the Chicago (author-date) style and I have many entries of the type "Audio Recording" (Tonaufnahme) for CD booklets.

The problem is that Zotero displays the title instead of the artist/performer name in the in-text citation. I want the performer name to appear in the short reference, not the title.

I have already tried:
- Switching the performer field to single-field mode
- Adding "author: [Name]" in the Extra field

Since I have many such entries, I would like to fix this properly by editing the Chicago CSL style so that Audio Recording entries use the performer as the author in in-text citations.

Could anyone point me to the relevant section in the Chicago CSL file that I need to modify, or suggest a cleaner solution?

Thank you!
  • Perfomer should be treated as the principal creator both in text and in the bibliography with the Chicago 18 author-date style and that's the case for me.
Could you post a screenshot of the info pane of one such reference here?
