[Zotero 10 beta] Changelog missing

My update tracker (Latest) notified me that Zotero 10 was available. I launched Zotero and chose “Check for Updates…” I then clicked on “View more information about this update” and was taken to https://www.zotero.org/support/10._changelog, which says "No documentation page at 10._changelog."
  • The beta versions never have changelogs. The link I assume is auto generated

Hey, not sure - but maybe like that:
    https://github.com/zotero/zotero/compare/main...9.0.4
or change the 9.0.4 to the latest release ver #
  • Hard to tell if I want to upgrade then.

I’m not really sure what you’re talking about? What “update tracker”? If you’re using the beta, you should always just let it auto-update to the latest version — being on an outdated beta doesn’t make any sense, since the whole point of using the beta is to test the latest changes.

That URL isn’t formatted right, and we’ll look at that, but betas aren’t complete and therefore don’t have changelogs. We write a changelog when we put out a release.
  • I use an update tracker to let me know when my software needs updated.

I’m still on 9.0-beta.21+1a89239a1; I can’t find anywhere to turn on/off automatic updates, but I certainly don’t recall turning them off.

That's a beta from early April.

Go to Settings → Advanced → Config Editor (at the bottom) and make sure you haven't changed app.update.auto to false.

`app.update.auto` is true, so I don’t know why it’s not updating.
