Request new citation version for Advanced Science

Hi,
I need a new version zotero reference style for "Advanced Science". The version of CSL currently provided by Zotero is out of date.

The author-guidelines of Advanced Science:https://advanced.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/hub/journal/21983844/author-guidelines

Please use full citations in the following format :

I would be very grateful if you could help me. :)

  • what are the concrete errors?
  • Thanks for your timely response!

Here are the concrete errors in the current Zotero CSL file when compared to the official journal examples and recently published papers:

    1. Missing Article Title: The CSL completely omits the article title. According to the journal guidelines, the full-length article title must be included and enclosed in quotation marks (e.g., “Actuation of Mobile Microbots: A Review,”).

    2. Incorrect Journal Title Format: The CSL calls for form="short", which generates abbreviated journal names (e.g., Adv. Sci.). The journal requires the full-length journal name (e.g., Advanced Intelligent Systems).

    3. Missing Issue Number: The CSL layout only extracts the volume variable. It lacks the configuration to output the issue number, which the journal requires in the format of no. X (e.g., no. 9).

    4. Incorrect Year Placement & Formatting: The CSL places a bolded year immediately after the journal title. The actual style requires the year to be unbolded, placed inside parentheses after the volume/issue, and followed by a colon (e.g., 5, no. 9 (2023):).

    5. Missing Author Truncation (Et al.) Rule: The journal requires that if the number of authors exceeds 6, it should list the first 3 followed by "et al." The current CSL lacks the max-authors="6", et-al-min="7", and et-al-use-first="3" attributes in the author/citation macros.

Overall, the CSL file is currently using Advanced Functional Materials as a template, which utilizes the traditional Wiley-VCH numeric style (no titles, short journal names). It needs to be updated to the Chicago-based style currently used by Advanced Science.
