EBSCO & Blackwell Synergy ?

Hi, I know you are working on it... but is Zotero working for these two sites, EBSCO & Blackwell Synergy?

(Zotero saves EBSCO records automatically when clicking Direct Export to EndNote, etc but the pdf files are not downloaded automatically).

Send you greetings!
  • We're aware of problems with EBSCO and are working to resolve them, but we cannot reproduce any errors with Blackwell Synergy. Could you please provide a specific example or URL that is failing?
  • I would like to provide you with the link but I surfed too many papers that time that I can't really send you the link, but if I get one I will post it here!
  • Here's a Blackwell Synergy URL that fails:
    http://www.blackwell-synergy.com/links/doi/10.1111/j.1520-8583.2004.00032.x/abs/

Zotero just gives the old blank box on trying to capture the reference here - same as I see regularly when I get failures trying to capture references via EZProxy. Also, no new errors are reported via the gear icon. Is there any way you could make Zotero more informative when it encounters this kind of problem?
  • I'm running Zotero rc3 by the way.
  • Further info:
The current Blackwell Synergy translator assumes URLs of the form:
    http://www.blackwell-synergy.com/doi/[ACCESS TYPE]/[DOI]

(ACCESS TYPE may be: "abs" OR "full" OR "pdf")

It doesn't recognize the form I used (from an external link):
    http://www.blackwell-synergy.com/links/doi/[DOI]/[ACCESS TYPE]/

    Hope that helps.
  • I'm having this problem for this page as well:
