Hi. I am having persistent issues with the Zotero Connector in Chrome. Whenever I try to save an item to my library (even to my online library), I receive the error: "An error occurred while saving this item".

Specifically, this happens consistently whenever the connector attempts to download and save the PDF attachment. Metadata sometimes saves correctly, but the PDF capture fails every time. I am using Zotero 9.0.4 (x64) on Windows 11. I have already tried reinstalling the browser extension, but the issue persists.

Just to clarify, this screenshot is just one example. This issue occurs with every single PDF I try to save from any source.

@dstillman, yes I have also been having issues.

My chrome add on has stopped working as of a few weeks ago. No matter what platform (Wiley, Sage), it can no longer downlaod even when its open access article.
