Chicago 18 error: single quotes converted to double quotes within book titles
I am using Chicago 18 and single quotes in "rock 'n' roll" in book titles are converted to double quotes which is incorrect (see image). Any chance this conversion can be turned off?

poettliedited today at 11:11amIt depends on the header (and consequently the style) language. You will get single quotes in English (UK) and double quotes in English (US).

adamsmithBut if you do want regular Chicago style, no I don't think it can be turned off, I'm afraid

erazlogoedited today at 1:16pm@adamsmith But this is incorrect, in any style. I do want Chicago English (US). "Rock 'n' Roll" is spelled with single quotes in US English.

adamsmithI understand. I just don't have a fix.

bwiernikIf I recall correctly, you can replace the quotes with single typographic curly quotes (U+2018/2019) and the citation processor won’t convert them https://unicodefyi.com/guide/quotation-marks-guide/

erazlogoThe citation processor seems to convert U+2018/2019 but U+201B stays in single quotes. Nice workaround, thanks!
