Upgrade StorageAbbreviations

I am struggling with the organisation of my abbreviations of journals
First I would like to know if its possible to manage which abbreviations zotero has for a journal. For instance, for Advanced Synthesis & Catalysis, my Zotero has "Adv Synth & Catal" (wrong) and "Adv. Synth. Catal." (right). Is there a way to delete the first one ?
Second, is there a way to manually automate which abbreviation Zotero uses for a journal ? Like I would have to manually say everytime it downloads a JOC article, the abbreviation is "J. Org. Chem."

adamsmithYou mean in the journal abbreviations field on in citations? Zotero automatically abbreviates journal titles when you use the word processor plugin with default settings, and I believe it'd get both of these examples right.
