Different file renaming rules for different libraries?

Hi,
Z9 has a very useful option that allows you to rename a linked file using a specific rule. However, the rule is applied to the entire library. I have a library of books for which I use this rule, and a library of papers for which I use the file name as it is. Is it possible to apply different rules to different libraries?

    The per-library file renaming settings introduced in Zotero 9 apply to group libraries -- separate libraries, usually shared with others, where the group admin can configure a renaming rule for the group. They don't apply to different collections within your personal My Library.

    Assuming you talk about individual collections in your library -- different renaming rules for "books" collection vs. "papers" collection within the same library -- that's not currently supported. The rename rule in Settings → General applies to your entire personal library.

    No, this won't logically work for collections, since the same item can be in multiple collections.
