Copying a quote with a citation

Is there any way to copy a quote and a citation at the same time? iBooks does this (whether you want it to or not), as so:

`“Ctesias, the son of Ctesiochus, the Cnidian, wrote of the region of the
Indians and the state of those countries, matters which he neither saw
himself, nor ever heard come from the mouth of any man.”

That’s obviously not the format I would want, but the concept is right.

Is there a way to do this in Zotero?

    You can click an annotation in the reader and press Ctrl/Cmd-C (or Edit → Copy) to copy the annotation and a basic author-date citation. In an upcoming version, the citation will follow your existing Quick Copy citation settings.

    In Zotero 9, you can also insert annotations with active Zotero citations directly into your word processor document:
