Bug Report: In Configure File Renaming the Filename Template is uneditable for other Libraries

Problem: In the Configure File Renaming window, if you choose a Library other than "My Library" with the dropdown menu, the Filename Template textbox is blocked / non-editable.

Reproducibility:
* Add a second (Group) Library (Setting | Sync)
* Go to Configure File Renaming (Setting | General | Configure File Renaming)
* Switch Library to the second (Group) Library
Result: the Filename Template Text Box is blocked / non-editable.

Version: 9.0.3

Fixing this big would be so helpful for me! Thank you in advance, and keep up with the good work!
  • Only the group owner can set this (since files are renamed automatically, different settings would cause constant renaming back and forth)
  • Thank you for the fast answer. I am the group owner. I still cannot set this.

    Reproducibility:
    * Create a new Group Library with you as the owner (e.g., and the only member)

Result: the Filename Template Text Box is blocked / non-editable for you, even though you are the owner of the Library.

I can't reproduce this. @rmmueller, can you provide a Debug ID for creating a group, syncing, and then going to the settings and not being able to edit?

    Dear @dstillman,

I could also NOT reproduce the bug for a newly created group. There, I can edit the filename template after creating the group and syncing.

However, for an existing group where I am the owner and/or the only member, I can not edit the filename template: here is the Debug ID of the existing group: D792469993

After going to Zotero.org on Member settings and clicking on "Update Role" (without changing anything), it now also works for the existing group.

Thank you for your great work.
