Google Docs - citations inside table doesn't work anymore
Still, two weeks ago, I was able to insert citations into tables inside Google Docs. Luckily, the paper was accepted by the journal, but after upgrading to Zotero 9 today, I am no longer able to do that ("Zotero experienced an error updating your document. Would you like to view troubleshooting instructions?"). Working in Brave on Ubuntu 24.04 with Zotero 9.0.1. Outside the table, everything works as usual. Any ideas? The insertion into tables was always fragile, because sometimes the citations would jump and do other funny things. The workaround is to create them outside and copy them into the table, which luckily still seems to work, but feels a bit unprofessional. One can even edit them after they have been moved into the table, but creating them within a table seems a thing of the past.

madeleine_nicoI've had this exact problem, except that when I paste the citations into the table they unlink and no longer reflect in the bibliography. Seems like this is a bug better fixed on Zotero's end...

adomasven Zotero Team@jeltsch @madeleine_nico Sorry, this is now fixed for Firefox and Edge. Still waiting for Chrome for approval (their review time seems to have increased recently quite dramatically).
