Upgrade Storage“[URGENT] Word could not communicate with Zotero (Mac)”
Hello,
I’ve been experiencing an issue with Zotero’s Word plugin recently. Previously, everything worked fine, but now I cannot insert citations or bibliographies in Microsoft Word.
Each time I try, I receive the following error message:“Word could not communicate with Zotero. Please ensure that Zotero is open and try again.”
I have already tried the following troubleshooting steps:
Restarting both Zotero and Word
Reinstalling Zotero
Disabling and re-enabling the Word plugin
Reinstalling the Word add-in from Zotero preferences
Unfortunately, the problem persists.
For reference:
Zotero version: 6.0.26
I would appreciate any guidance on how to resolve this issue.

dstillman Zotero TeamYou're running a version of Zotero from April 2023. You should install the latest version from the download page and figure out why you haven't received automatic updates in several years.
